Is she still one of the world’s most famous vegans? Not if recent tabloids are to be believed. Apparently she succumbed to the temptation to start eating meat again after trying some salmon in a restaurant in Iceland recently. However, we’re sure it’s not going to make any difference to the creamy white complexion the star of countless popular movies is renowned for. It’s also unlikely to make much difference to her current preferences for wholesome 100% organic produce and other healthy choices nor we suspect will it change her love of jalapenos and hot spicy food. She attributes her lean figure in part to these foods as they help keep hunger at bay and speed up metabolism.
Whilst genetics plays a big part in her flawless skin, she also takes very good care of it too. She never goes outside without first applying a sun protection product. Usually it’s a protective moisturizing fluid with SPF added to it that not only protects her skin but also finishes off her make up beautifully. She tries to apply a moisturizer at least twice a day. Furthermore, Anne also doesn’t obsess about getting a suntan like so many others do. Quite the opposite in fact; she revels in her peaches and cream complexion and believes, correctly, that excessive sun exposure eventually destroys skin tone.
Another thing Anne is well known for is her firm belief that drinking plenty of water is one of the best ways to keep skin looking hydrated, clear, and youthful. She’s been known to drink 11 to 12 glasses of it a day! Water is also an excellent way to flush toxins from the body. Her other quirky beauty tip is downing 2 tablespoons of olive oil every night before bed. Like water, it is supposed to help rid the body of toxins and help maintain good liver health.
Where many celebrities opt for exclusive, often expensive lotions and potions, Anne is very much a DIY sort of girl. She has an arsenal of natural, homemade remedies for all occasions that all contribute to keeping her skin pure and glowing with good health. In fact, she likes nothing more than cleaning her face back to bare skin and lounging around with a homemade face mask on for an hour or two.
Then there’s her exercise regime. That slim, svelte body hasn’t happened purely by accident. She works hard to keep it that way with an exercise regime that wouldn’t be out of place in an athlete’s day. If you wanted to keep up with her, you’d need to be able to put in at least 30 minutes of running plus some very intense strength and cardio sessions. Five days a week!
