Coffee lover Jennifer Lawrence’s glowing skin and appearance may appear to be the result of dedicated skin and health care routines but the opposite is in fact the case. She is in fact pretty casual about it, although she does have a few set habits that she does regardless. One of those is daily exfoliation, done at night just before she goes to bed. However, when it comes to what she uses she has no particular favorites. As she says, ‘use anything grainy, and change it up.’

J-Law’s skin is also dry so after exfoliating she applies retinol then a thick layer of night cream. And that’s it. She does however have an expert facialist and often defers to her on matters of facial importance. She also enjoys a good soak in Epsom Salts; the magnesium does wonders for the body and ensures a good night’s sleep to boot! In the mornings, Jennifer Lawrence doesn’t have any particular skincare regime. She does however have a fondness for an early morning coffee, after which she cleans her teeth before applying sun block and concealer. She then heads to the park with her favorite 4-legged companion for a bit of R and R. In fact, if there’s one thing J-Law does do on a regular basis it’s exercise.

She runs and does Pilates but her exercise bouts tend to be broken up into small ‘packages’ throughout the day as her routine permits. She may for example head out for a 30-minute run and then follow that up with short 15-minute exercise routines when time permits.

Apart from exercise, and a very rudimentary skin care regime, J-Law is noted for her not so healthy eating habits! In her own words, she eats ‘like a 10 year old orphan’. However, over the years she’s also discovered that junk food rarely provides the energy she needs to get through a full day so she’s learned to incorporate healthy snacks into her daily food intake. She likes to keep a supply of blueberries and cashew nuts handy for munching on, as well as her favorite full-fat Greek yogurt, and vegetable crudités with hummus.

On the make up side, Jennifer is master of the dramatic and can often be seen sporting a beautifully applied cat eye or gothic colored lip. She uses lipsticks, or lip balms, that are enriched with natural compounds like wild mango that help keep her lips nicely moisturized. Another favorite is a classy pink for during the day, and a dramatic red for those red carpet appearances, or for nights out on the town.
